Tired of hearing that it will be a minimum of $75 (or more) to even LOOK at your guitar (or other instrument) amp? Even if all it has is a scratchy control, loose jack, etc.? Euthymia Electronics charges $50 for amplifier tune-up and diagnosis.

What you get for your $50 is that I will perform a basic tune up including cleaning and tightening any controls or jacks that need to be cleaned or tightened, visual inspection, testing of all tubes on my vintage Eico 667 tube tester, and any repairs that can be completed within an hour.

If your amplifier needs more than I can give it in an hour, I'll do what I can in that time and contact you for authorization to proceed. No expensive surprises. No "Dude, it needed a complete replacement of zillions of expensive parts, here's your bill."

If you have a nice old amp that's laying around unused because you can't afford to have it looked at, here's your chance to put it back into use.

I sometimes accept non-functional amps in exchange for credit on repairs on other amps, so if you have more than one broken amp, you may be able to work out a deal.

Other services I do include woodworking repair/replacement of damaged amplifier cabinets, and guitar wiring repair.
